Welcome to the Sequoia family! These initial forms are the first step for everyone joining our community. The General Questionnaire helps us understand your lifestyle and dog experience, while the Code of Conduct ensures we are all aligned on the safety, health, and positive-reinforcement standards that protect our dogs. Once these are on file, we can move forward with finding your perfect match. 

This section is for those opening their homes to a dog in need of a temporary—or potentially permanent—place to land. Whether you are applying to be a traditional foster or are utilizing our Foster-to-Adopt program to find your perfect match, these documents outline the next steps.

Important Note: In Foster-to-Adopt cases, the sanctuary remains the legal owner and will perform the spay/neuter procedure before the adoption is officially finalized.

Ready to make it official? This section is for those who have found their forever match and are ready to move forward with a permanent adoption. Our goal is to ensure every Sequoia dog transitions into a loving, prepared home.

Please note: For any dog not yet altered at the time of adoption, a refundable $300 spay/neuter deposit is required. This is returned immediately upon providing veterinary proof of the procedure, ensuring our commitment to the long-term health and wellness of our rescues.

Our "Safety Net" program is a long-term foster initiative inspired by Ruby, designed for dedicated owners who are facing temporary housing crises or breed restrictions. Our goal is to provide a bridge until you can bring your dog back home.
