Founded by a career Veterinary Technician with a passion for the "unseen" and the "unadoptable," Sequoia was built to be the safety net that catches dogs falling through the cracks of the traditional shelter system.

With years of professional medical experience, we realized that many dogs are euthanized simply because they are "too much" for a standard shelter to handle—too scared, too sick, or too shut down. Sequoia was created to take on those challenges, providing the medical stabilization and decompression time these animals deserve.
